Retention Policy
How long AmaJova keeps OfferLink records.
This page explains how AmaJova keeps account, checkout, order, verification, payment, dispute, payout, audit, and compliance records for OfferLink.
1. Retention principle
AmaJova keeps personal data and platform records only for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected.
Some records may need to be kept longer where required for payment processing, dispute handling, fraud prevention, legal obligations, tax, accounting, PSP requirements, auditability, compliance, or platform safety.
2. Account and profile records
We may keep seller, buyer, and admin account records while the account remains active and for a reasonable period after closure where needed for support, security, compliance, or transaction history.
- Account identity and contact details.
- Seller public profile information.
- Account status, verification status, and support history.
- Settings needed to operate the account or resolve account-related issues.
3. Checkout, order, payment, payout, and dispute records
Transaction-related records may need to be retained after an account is closed or a deletion request is made.
- Checkout and order records.
- Payment and payment-provider references.
- Delivery, revision, completion, refund, and dispute records.
- Payout requests, payout status, seller earnings, and ledger records.
- Records needed for chargebacks, complaints, accounting, tax, payment-provider reviews, and legal obligations.
We do not store full card numbers. Payments are processed by licensed payment providers.
4. Verification and compliance records
Verification records may be retained where needed to meet payment-provider, anti-fraud, KYC, compliance, dispute, payout, or legal obligations.
- Email and phone verification status.
- Identity or seller verification status and related references.
- Documents or supporting information submitted for verification where required.
- Review outcomes and compliance decisions.
Access to verification information should remain restricted and used only for approved operational, compliance, support, or review purposes.
5. Messages, support, and order communication
Order messages, dispute messages, support messages, and related communication may be retained to help operate the service, resolve issues, support users, and maintain transaction records.
Where a message is connected to an order, dispute, refund, payout, or compliance review, it may need to be kept with the related record.
6. Security and audit records
We may retain technical, security, and audit records to protect accounts, transactions, administrators, and the platform.
These records help us investigate unauthorised access, abuse, policy breaches, payment safety issues, and platform reliability concerns.
7. Usage and analytics records
We may retain limited usage and analytics information to understand page visits, checkout starts, device type, referral source, performance, and platform reliability.
Seller-facing analytics should not expose sensitive personal information, payment credentials, hidden fraud indicators, or internal risk scores.
8. Account closure and deletion requests
If you close an account or request deletion, we will review what information can be deleted and what must be retained.
Some rights are not absolute. We may retain certain records where required or permitted for legal, payment, dispute, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, PSP, compliance, or audit reasons.
Where possible, we limit retained information to what is necessary for those purposes.
